Hi, I am trying to create a simple ordering system in access 2003 I am a
complete novice but am gradually getting to grips with simple processes.. I
have created my frontform with login/Username details etc etc this all works
fine. What I now want to do is create an order form whereby I can click on a
title and that title is itemised complete with price and a total for all
items listed. I then need to be able to add an area that allows a method of
payment and for an order form to be generated. I have a sample list of
titles and prices, can anybody talk me through the process of designing the
order form? I would be very grateful.

This would be several hours work... rather more than would be
appropriate for this newsgroup.

Do check out the Northwind sample database that comes in the Samples
folder on your Office CD. It has a fully worked-out Orders
application. Note particularly that the Form IS NOT THE DATABASE; if
you don't have your Tables set up correctly then you're wasting effort
working on forms!

There are many templates and free examples of ordering
databases on the internet. check out the Microsoft site
and there are others. It will save you a great deal of
time and you will see how the database is developed. Good
luck!
