Desperate!! word document does not open

If you have Norton Anti Virus, open NAV and deselect the Office Plug-in
option.

: I was working all day long on a report due on Friday. I was cautiosly
saving
: my work every 5 to 10 minutes. Then when I was ready to go home I saved
the
: file again. However now that I want to open the file Word says that it
: cannot find the file and to verify the path but I am double clicking on

: file. It says to look for the file using the File/open menu, which I do

: select the file, but it doesn't open. I says in some window to check the
: permissions of the file but I am an administrator in my machine so I have
: all permissions enabled for me.
