Bev, I have the same issue..2 dbases both protected, 1 query reference a table on the other dbase
It produces the 'Not Valid password' error when i attempt to run the query
It does not ask for the PW...even when I have opened both Dbases and provided the PWs at the opening stage
It wont let me run the query & doesnt request I enter the query

Any clue
