Desperately need help opening an old file

i have an old project file from around 1998 made on project for macintosh. can anyone help open it and convert it to a current project format?

Dear desperately,
Yes, if you can send me the file. If it is not corrupted, I will
translate it to Project 2000 (that's the latest version I have) and send
it back.
