Detail Headers column not showing in Task Usage view

The Detail Headers column is not showing in the Task Usage view although in
Usage Properties 'Display Detail Headers Column' is set to 'Yes'. The column
shows up in the Resource Usage view. I haven't been able to figure this out.
Please advise.

Hello Desmond,

Is it possible that you've made the column heading very narrow so
that you can't see any data? Place your mouse in the timescale as
far left as you can and see if you can drag to see the details
column.
