I understand that Office 2003 Service Pack 1 fixed a
previous bug with OL 2003 regarding how it handled
information contained in the Notes area of a sent vCard.
Prior to SP1, OL stripped out the information in the Notes
area when the vCard was received or opened. I've applied
SP1 and it fixes this. However, while the information in
the Notes area can be viewed once the vCard is opened up,
it immediately disappears when the contact entry is
saved. This happens every time I receive vCards that have
information in the Notes area and when I save them as a
new entry, the information is gone. This was not the case
with Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2002. Any thoughts on how to
get around this, or whether Microsoft is planning to fix
this soon? Thanks.
