detect and repair deleted everything in my inbox

Greetings. After finding out that I had emails going out with broken up
paragraphs, I had decided that perhaps I should try the detect and repair
button. I chose to reset to default and assumed that the program would just
make the changes. It has deleted all my messages in every box which I must
have. I am in big trouble can anyone help to restore these catagories.

I don't think Detect and Repair does such a thing, but it may have lost
the pointer to your PST file. Search for *.PST on your computer, and if
you find the right one (check date and size), open it from Outlook.
