Thanks so much for the help. I followed your advice, and the only .pst files that came up were my old backups that I had already imported. My computer didn't find any other .pst files. Any advice?

All your mails etc, are normally kept in a file with an extension .pst.
What may have happened is that Outlook lost its link to your original pst
file, or that file became corrupt and the detect and repair simply recreated
a new one. Do a hard drive scan for .pst files, being sure to check to
scan system and hidden files and directories. Once you locate all the pst
files on your system, you can then use the import option from File-> Import
to move them from the old file.

I just ran a detect and repair because Outlook had stopped displaying my
inbox. After I ran the program, all of my data in Outlook was lost. I
imported everything since my last backup, but why did the other emails just
disappear? Is there anything I can do to get them back?
