Detect and Repair/ Install Probs Office 2003

Hi!

Ok let's try this again as I didn't get the answer last time. The
problem is that I get the following error as recorded in the log file....

MSI (s) (18:A4) [16:52:42:708]: Product: Microsoft Office Professional
Edition 2003 -- Installation failed.

The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that
the source exists and that you can access it.
C:\MSOCache\All Users\90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9\PRO11.MSI

Now I get this error no matter what I do, including a complete uninstal
(via Windows install cleanup utility) and reinstall. The error returns
everytime. It also seems to affect some none MS progs which would seem
to indicate a problem with the registry and/or windows installer.

Its driving me mental because I can't make changes to my installation or
install updates or run detect and repair, without doing a complete
uninstall etc etc...

Please help someone!!!

Anthony

Hi! Thanks for responding!!

Yeah the famous LISTOOL solution. I have tried this but it refuses to
run and returns error code 0x80070002 everytime.
Unless this can be resolved I am stuck cos' I must have tried every
other "solution". Any clues on how to get past this, please?

Regards

Anthony
