Detect and repair wont work for Office 2003

I am trying to detect and repair Microfsoft Office. I have my original CD's
and when going through the Setup, and then the Detect and Repair option, I
keep getting stopped by the message below. How can I get past this message.
I cant understand why I dont have access to this.

Exact Message:
Error 1406. Set up cannot write the value ButtonText to the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Extensions\{92780B25-18CC-41C8-B9BE-3C9C571A8263}. Verify that you
have suffiecient permissions to access the registry or contact Microsoft

Are you doing the Detect and Repair while logged on to an account that
has Administrator rights?

I am logged in as Administrator and have never changed any of the settings
for this login so I am thinking i should have administrator rights.
