Detecting Visio version programatically

I'm building a deployment package for a COM add-in for Visio. My
add-in requires that the user have installed at least Visio 2002 SR-1.
What's the most _reliable_ way of determining (1) if Visio is
installed on the user's machine and (2) which version is installed?
