Determine if record is locked - programatically

Is there a way to loop through a table or recordset and determine which records are locked

I am having a 'Couldn't update, currently locked' error message sometimes and am trying to determine which records are locked at that time

Seems like a record within a table or recordset would have a 'locked' property..
