Hi!
Using Access 2000
I'm trying to find a way of preventing the user from
opening a database in read-only mode (This seems to often
cause other users to be able to only open it read only -
though some users could be mistaken and are opening it up
exclusivley). There is no security on the database (it's
simply not an option at this point).
I found article Q210359 - How to Determine If a Database
Is Open Exclusively, and it has helped tremendously with
keeping users from opening the database exclusively, but
we still sometimes have a problem where someone seems to
have it opened read only and others users can then only
open it read only. I'm wondering if there's similar
article along the lines of Q210359 that might be helpful.
Thanks
Paul R.
