That tool only works if you have the Track Name AutoCorrect box checked
(Tools | Options | General). If you are trusting this "feature", you may not
be aware of the number of known problems it has. For a list of well over a

I agree that the Track Name AutoCorrect feature should be turned off
under normal circumstances, and in any case should not be enabled when
the application is delivered.
However, many of the problems occur when actual name changes are
enabled. It's possible to turn the just the tracking portion on, check
object dependencies, then turn it back off again. This approach could
be considered if no other search tools (e.g. Speed Ferret) are
available.
