Determine word counts in a set of Visio drawings

Vision Standard 2002

I'm readying a large collection of Visio objects for a localization project.
I need to figure out how many words are present in this collection.

Any ideas?

I save to PDF, select all and copy, then paste as unformatted text in word.
Then Tool>Statistic.
