Determining presence of scanning in Office Tools...

Is document (image) scanning part of newly acquired Office 2000 as in
previous 2000 Professional (early version)?.... it is not one of folders in
"Office Tools" in program file; if not part of Office 2000, is an upgrade
available?

first added starting with Office XP (2002).
