I haven't personally done any work with Visual Studio but yes, VB code
(versus VBA) can be used to run user developed applications with
Project. My question is, how do you expect to run a user developed
application for Project when you don't have Project installed? Isn't
that kind of like trying to drive to the store without a vehicle?
Now, perhaps you have a different version of Project installed (e.g.
Project 2003) but you want to develop an application that work with
Project 2000. That does make some sense but it might be tough testing
the code without the targeted version. Generally however, the 2K series
of Project versions are all compatible and an app built to run with
Project 2003, for example, should work fine with Project 2000. But then
again.....
