developing with .NET a no-no?

What problems may accour while developing an office addin based
on .NET, developing and deploing phase?

For example an addin developed with VS.NET 2005 and Framework 2.0 does
not run until:

Do you know other other problems that may occur, and the solutions for
them, if they exist?

Hi,

A general "thumb" rule is to make sure that the targeting machines have the
latest updates (SP) for Windows and Office. You should also test the solution
by installing it on one of the targeting machines.

I'm an Excel specialist and I don't know if it exist special issues with
Word, PowerPoint or Outlook.
