Development>Test>Training>Production -data migration

Greetings.

Trere has been some discussions on migrating data, but so far I have not
found enough information. My requirements are as follows :
- I have two separate systems. How to migrate ALL the data from one system
to another. ALL means : MSP -server settings, security groups and categories,
enterprise global, views, share point templates, sites and data etc.

I know of a case where database was copied, but resulted in serious errors
(and sharepoint was not included).

Best practises, anybody ?

The database restore technique is the easiest and most effective way to move
the Project Server content. Migrating SharePoint is more difficult.

Is there any written procedure for migrating a single server installation
(Project and WSS) to a two server system?

Chris:

I'm not aware of one, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. Seems to me
that you can figure out the deltas between a one to one and a one-to-two box
move by reviewing the installation guide.
