Diagonal or stepped connectors

Hi

I am working on a diagram created by someone else in Visio
5. There are some existing lines which go straight from
one shape to the other, i.e. diagonally. When I add
connectors, they are always the stepped version - how do I
change them to the direct diagonal versions please ?
