Diagram freezes program

Working in word making a flow chart, for some reason I am having issues. Two
things, one, when pasting a square text box (have about 20) Word freezes
and/or the text is somehow magically linked to another text box. Tried the
file on two different machines, same problem. Is it the file, the program, or
what?

Hi Usask,

It sounds like this may be a corrupt document file. Was it worked on in different versions of Word?

In Word 2003 try using File=>Save as XML, then close Word and clear all files found with Start=>Search
~$*.*;*.tmp
then restart Word open the XML file and save it as a .doc file again.

That will sometimes clear out the inverse data pointers that the Word text boxes pickup.
