I am trying to dial out (telephone within the UK). I can hear my dial-up
modem dialling, but the automated voice at BT tells me it does not
recognise the number.
The same thing happens with a piece of software called Phonedeck which used
to be fine.
I have the modem set to My Location = UK and my area code.
I seem to remember having this trouble before, but cannot remember the
solution.
