dialog box settings

I would like to show the Cross reference dialog box with
ReferenceType and ReferenceKind set to specific settings
(depending on what needs to be cross-referenced). The
dialog box shows, but I cannot get the settings to
display to other than the default dialog box setting. I
have all the right arguments to display the settings
with, but I can't get it to work. I am a beginner.

I ended up making my own form. A lot of Word dialogs are quite hidden
way. The only problem with your own form is providing the list of
numbered items - there are some tricky technical issues.
