Dialog Box

Just installed Office Home and Student and evey time I open one of the
applications, a pop up box appears with the Message "Dialog Box is still
open, click close"
I click close and the application starts up, but everything appears to be
running more slowly than my old Office 97, and to be honest, wished i had
never upgraded.

Can anyone please advise how to remedy this Dialog Box Message.

Perhaps look to see what dialog box is open? As to SPEED, hardware
requirement to support the new versions features are considerably higher
than the software that was released a decade ago.
