diappearing word art in MS Word

Hi,
my daughter create a poster in Word 2003. She inserted text from Word art
but it doesn't show up unless we switch to print preview. This didn't happen
before, anyone know the solution? We check under options but we didn't see
anything there that could be causing this problem.

Tools>Options>View has a check box "Picture placeholders". If this is
checked, images are not displayed during editing to speed up on-screen
rendering.

Just a thought.
