Diary in the Calendar

I have Outlook 2003.
How can I write down my activities of each day in the Calendar box for each
day?
Am I missing something very simple somewhere??

All I want to do is make diary entry every day of my jobs, visits, etc.,
without making any appointments or notes separately.

Thanks in advance!

You can't write in an empty calendar box.

Tasks might suit you better or just make the entries in the Calendar and
don't think of them as Appointments. You can link Tasks to a day in the
Calendar.
Actually, the Journal might even suit you in a timeline based view. Create
your own Entry Type. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/180139 for creating
entry types in the Journal. That's for Outlook 2002 so the registry setting
might be slightly different.

Thanks your input!
But altering registry settings are a bit beyond me, especially if I have to
get back to original state. And also I don't have the spare time to fix any
glitch.
Am surprised that MS Outlook didn't design a diary into the program! And I
had thought computers could do anything, without need of paper !
Maybe somebody will know of another simple program to make a daily diary.
Thanks again!

My opinion is that computers were invented as a tool to increase paper
usage.

You could just use the existing entry types. It really is kind of a "diary".
Give it a go - hardly anyone uses the Journal.
