Dictionary file in Windows or Office.

Hi, there:

I am a computer programmer studying English as my third language. I want to
know whether there is
a English-2-English dictionary somewhere in Windows 2000 & Office 2003?

I found Outlook 2003 has some sorts of dictionary lookup fanctionality,
where is the data file it is looking at?

My requirement can be the raw data file, formatted data file, anything that
is computer readable. A vocabulary
equal to a 1000 page palm-size dictionay is enough for me...
