Dictionary Language options disappears from Spelling and Grammer

Hi all, would like to seek help on this problem I had with my user.

He's using Windows XP with Office Xp. After doing office updates, the
Spelling and Grammer's Dictionary Language selection drop down box
disappeared. It's not grey out, it just vanish from the dialog box totally.
Everything else is where it should be.

Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks a million!

Hi Melvin,

Can you provide us with the exact steps you used to get to where the
Dictionary Language should be? I believe you are referring to the
dialog box used to Modify the custom dictionary but I want to be sure.

Hi Beth,

Ok, let's say I type in some rubbish like "wwewerre". I go to Tools >
Spelling and Grammer
The Spelling and Grammer dialog box will appears with suggestions. Normally,
you can select the
dictionary language there but now it's gone.

Anyway to "reset" the dictionary? Do you think if I remove normal.dot or
delete the word entries in HKCU will help?
