Did home user to use Office Home and Student 2007 ?

Did I can to use Office Home and Student 2007 if I am not a student or
teacher? In Office forum (1/29/2007) and
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/HA101655301033.aspx , I found that
Office H&S 2007 can be used if users are not students (non-commercial usage).
But I had face with problem to purchase this software in Latvia because in
shop I have need to verify that I am student, and when I call to Microsoft
Latvia for assistance I received answer that truly I have to study or that
one from family is a student. If I purchase software ,example from Internet,
did I will be licensed user of Office H&S 2007?
