I don't know what to do, i left my trial office on my computer (thinking it
would cease after the trial ran out) and then i installed the full version -
will this not work now? how do i sort this out?

Write down your full version product key before you do anything else. Then
uninstall the full version and then the trial version. You may need to also
run the Microsoft uninstallation tool (I can't remember its exact name off
the top of my head). Once it is uninstalled, you can reinstall the full
version.

Uninstall the full version and the Trial version and the Activation Assistant and
all references to Office and the re-start the installation of your Retail full
version of Office
Also remember to back up and save any data that you think you will need at a later
date

Thank you for your reply. However i downloaded the full version of office so
i do not have a hard copy of it, so surely i should not uninstall the
activation assistant?
