Diferent watermarks in a single word document

How do we put a different watermark per page like after a section break (next
page) with the header unlinked to the prior page. We tried inserting a group
of pages but this did not work. We tried pasting the different pages into
the headers (ie. one different page per different header), but then could not
type on top or put a table to put field codes, because the header had taken
up the entire page.

We want to put different pages of a document as watermarks, to be able to
type other items on top of them.

As I recall all you need do is to add the water mark to the header and
move it to where you want keeping it almost transparent. Since I am working
with an old version of Office, the details of doing it likely are different.
