Difference Between Contacts List & Address Book

When I get an email from someone and I sometimes right
click on the sender name and select "Add to Contacts."
The operation works well and it is added to
my "Contact." I then check in my address book and the
entry is not there. I thought the contacts and Address
Book are the same, but apparantly thats is not the case.
How do I get entries in the contact list to go
automatically to the address book?

They are the same.
You apparently haven't configured the Outlook Address Book to display the
Contacts Folder to which you are adding Contacts. If you do not know how to
do that, post your Outlook version.
