Difference between Office 2004 US and intl. english?

Hi all,

is there a difference between the US version of Office 2004 and the
international english version? Are the french, german, italian,
swiss-german etc. dictionaries included in teh US version as well?

The reason I'm wondering is, of course, the staggering price
difference: buying the Office 2004 Upgrade in english costs anywhere
between US$ 300 and US$ 380 here, which I find a bit excessive.

I doubt that there is the slightest difference. Most of the time, the
only difference between various localizations is the localization
itself.. The resources are the same.

:-> Yeah, many companies tend to have the nasty habit to inflate the
prices when the product crosses the Atlantic. The tax is different to.
You have to take the VAT in consideration.

Corentin,

VAT is at 7.6% here, so this is not responsible for (all of) the difference.
But then you're absolutely right: a lot of companies are playing this
"let's inflate those euro prices, the eurotrash are too dumb to notice
anyway" game. Adobe is almost 100% more expensive here than in the
US... for basically the same software, as they had to admit.

When I was in France, very often I ordered products online in the US
(from the very few sites that accept shipping internationally). I
received them before they ever were available in Europe and for cheaper
despite the shipping costs :-(
