Difference in resource numbers reported

I have a Project 2002 file with about 500 lines that I'm
trying to level. I've just discovered that the Resource
Usage and the Resource Graph show very differeant
numbers. LIke 3.17 work months in one month for one
resource in the Resource Usage and 7.8 work months for the
same month in Resource Graph. Any clues for me tor try on
MOnday?

Hi jlb,

They probably do not show the same thing.
Resource Usage by default shows Work
Resource Graph by default shows Peak Units (the highest usage at any time
during the period)
In Resource Graph, Right-Click on the graphical part, select Work (or by all
means the same thing you are displaying in the Resource Usage view)
That should do it.

Exactly right! Thanks. I was in a hury to leave Friday
afternoon and didn't take time to think. I just checked
the file and am vastly relieved that I don't have an
insoluble puzzle to attack.

About 98% of my customers fall into that trap...
I really don't know why the defaults are different.
