Differences between two drawings

Hi. Is there a utility available to compare the differences between two
visio drawings?

Microsoft Word and Powerpoint both support this feature but it appears to be
missing from Visio.

We host our Visio drawings in a source control system and frequently need to
check the differences between two versions of the same drawings but without
a visual differencing tool this is very very tiresome as it is all manual.

The Org Chart Solution has a specific task for this, but I don't thnk tht
any other drawing types have.
I agree that it would be a good idea, but I can understand that it is a
mamoth undertaking.

A temporary solution might be:

a) save your drawings as xml.
b) use a text file comparison tool to compare the 2 xml version.
