Different Browsers...different view

I created my company webpages in Publisher 07 and have had them out on the
web since last year...running fine I thought. Anytime I've opened them up at
home or in my office they all appear fine. (I'm using IE 6) However the other
day while at my sister's home I went to show her something on one of my
page's and the home page came up completely distorted. Graphics were no
longer in boxes, texts were hangning off to the side, etc. The only thing we
can think of is that her computer opens with Firefox as it's browser. Could
my Publisher website be opening up horribly for anyone not using IE?? If so,
can I do anything to fix this? Thanks!!

Well,

I don't know how it is suppose to look but it is a mess in Mozilla. Way
too wide to fit in my 1020 pix screen, cannot read most of the text,
some links appear to work while others do not.

Yep...looks bad in FF. First of all I would suggest that you download and
install FireFox so you can test your site on your computer before you upload
it. If you get your site to look good in IE and FF, then you will have most
browsers covered. It is a small download of less than 6 megs, and when you
install it, just make sure you decline when it offers to become your default
browser. You might even find that you prefer it to IE someday...

Now as to your website. Several questions...are you using a masterpage? If
you are, move everything off of it and don't use one in a Pub web. What
width do you have your pages set for? Have you run the design checker tool?
Do you have anything that is overlapping into the scratch area from your Pub
page? What happens if you change your background image to just a color? How
are you building your background?

Sorry for so many questions, but in your case the answer as to why your
pages are not loading correctly is not immediately obvious.

I would say also...stick with one web designing program...theres Publisher,
FrontPage, Avantquest and maybe even Word being used on that site.
