Different Calendars for Subprojects

Hello

I'm using a masterplan project with some subprojects. I wanted to use
different calendars for each subproject but it appears that is always the
main project calendar that defines the working time for all the subprojects.
I changed the calendar for each subproject but it doesn't change nothing
because they are still connected to the main project calendar.

Can someone help me with this please?

Did you assign the special calander to the subproject under "Project,
Information"?

First of all, what version of Project are you using? And the update?

Unless you have a static master, a normal dynamic master does not
actually contain the subproject files. The master only contains pointers
to the subproject files. Therefore, each subproject will retain its own
calendar. The calendar of the master will only apply to tasks that may
be at the master file level itself.

Are you sure you have applied the custom calendars correctly for tasks
and resources in each subproject? It's more than just a matter of
setting the project calendar working time. You might want to go to our
MVP website at, http://www.mvps.org/project/faqs.htm, and take a look at
FAQ 5 - Default Working Time.

And just to cover the basics with regard to seeing changes, have you set
Tools/Options/Calculation to automatic?
