different column width

Hi,
I need to create a report with 4 columns, where the first column (with
labels) to be 4,5cm and the other 3 to be 4cm.

Is there a way to do that?
On page setup under the "columns" there is no such an option

Thanks
Christina

I have not been able to find a way to have two different
column widths. I doubt that it will help in your case, but
here'a a way to have the labels in their own column:

Thank you for your answer.
I have done what that page suggest, and it worked but my problem is that
I need to create a specific page where the 1st column in the detail area
should be
4,5cm and the other three 4cm.
Is there a way to do that using "subreports"?
I mean to put on the detail area all the infos I need for the 1st column (no
data there) and then create a subreport with the other 3 columns (my data is
there) and put it next?

I try that but it is not working (probably I do something wrong)

Sorry for my terrible English

Using a subreport might be the eeasiest way to get the
desired effect. First create a subreport that displays the
columns with out the labels. Then place it on the main
report .5 cm from the left side and add the labels to the
main report. You will need to adjust the label's position
to line up with the rows in the subreport. This idea does
not work weel if the subreport needs to display more records
than cloumns.

Are you sure that you can not just make all the columns 4.5
cm? An extra .5 cm in three columns doesn't seem like a big
enough space to cause all this trouble.

Unfortunatelly the data must me on a fixed form with specific lenght, windth
etc.
I did what you adviced but the result is not stable.

Finally, I made the form in WORD and merge the data from my query.
Not the best solution but it is working.

Thank you again for your replies
