different footers' location on odd and even numbers in Notes Master

Hi All,

I have the following problem - the presentation I have prepared is to be 2-side printed in the Notes view. So it would be great if footers and page numbers were placed differently (effectively exchanged with each other) on odd and even pages. Unfortunately I am not able to find the way to achieve this effect... Has anyone tried it with success? Any ideas would be welcome!
Thanks in advance,

G.J.

Sorry, but Notebook Layout doesn't even offer Footers, let alone the
sophistication you're looking for. The "mode" is intended for taking notes &
making outlines, it doesn't have the necessary tools for creating printed
presentation pieces.

I need more sleep - totally misread your message 8>} Unfortunately, the net
response is still pretty much the same. Although PPt certainly does have
Footers it still doesn't provide the inherent capability you're looking
for... You'd need to have 2 different Notes Masters - one odd, one even.

A possible kludge - which I've never tried - would be to set your Notes
Master up for recto & print odd pages only via the Print> Copies & Pages>
Paper Handling - Pages to Print, then modify the Notes Master for verso &
repeat the process to print the even pages.

Alternatively, I guess you could output the odd or even slides as separate
files & set each file's Notes Master accordingly, but I don't see that as
offering any particular advantage.

But come back and ask again when the next version of Office comes out.
Or mention it if you have an earlier version than 2008 available.

A little VBA could apply numbers to left/right side of the individual notes pages
rather than on the master.
