Different reply address does not work.

I am using Microsoft Outlook, Japanese edition.

I have set the reply for one of my e-mail account, account X, so that the
reply address of any given e-mail sent from account X will be sent to account
y, which i use on my portable device.

However, it does not work... Any idea what might be wrong?

Any help is appreciated.
