different versions

Would this be the type of thing caused by different versions of excel.....

I have a problem trying to alter your figures that have been entered to my
figures, the cursor freezes and I have to shut the excel spread sheet down
from the task bar because all the rest has frozen.

When the cursor changes to a cross and the page is frozen the cross acts
like an automatic scroll. the page will scroll up and across when ever you
move the cursor in that direction. On the second page the cursor turns in
to a cursor with a page diagram attached to it.
