Difficulty "Converting" Office Sta2007 Trial to fully licensed pro

P

Paul

I attempted to install a fully licensed version of Office 2007 (Standard)
from a corporate server (Upgrade from Office 2003.) The Key IT gave me was
accepted and installation began but because of connectivity issues, it took
forever. I instead downloaded a trial version and installed it using the
trial key provided. I have attempted to fully activate the product using the
key provided by the corporate IT department as this is a valid seat license
with licenses remaining but the activation wizard says the key is not valid.
It is recognized as being valid if I install from the servers. Am I going to
have to uninstall this software and reinstall the same product from the
corporate install setup in order for this key to be recognized? Thanks for
the assistance

Ask your IT department. It's their key and that's why they're paid the big
bucks. ;-)

Hello Joann
You need to uninstall the traial version completely and then download the
office 2007 Standard full version from the following link.
http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msoffice/pub/X12-30263/X12-30263.exe
But make sure that you will remove the previous trial version and the
following aplications from your computer before than that
You need to uninstall the following applications as well.
1-: Activation assistant for office 2007
2-: Compatibility pack for office 2007
3-: 2007 Microsoft syatem(If present)
4-: Any other office application

And after that try and enter the product key in the downloaded application
from internet.
Hope that it will resolve the issue as soon as possible.
