Difficulty with WEB folders connecting to Sharepoint Portal

D

damonf

Sorry all but I couldn't find a suitable group for
SharePoint. I'm having a problem connecting to
sharepoint server with a general user login. As
administrator everything works fine.

Run windows explorer and add a network place to
sharepoint server (works) but then if you try to click on
it you get:

"a connection to the server cannot be established, if the
problem persists, contact your server administrator"

If you run IE and connect, no problem

We have w2k sp4, ie 6 sp1 (custom build), citrix
metaframe xp 1.0 fr3, office xp mui sp2, sharepoint
client tools. It is set for terminal services.

Any ideas why this error occurs or where I can go to fix
it?
