Hi
I have a 200 page doc with many sections. The chapter headings are "Part A",
"Part B" etc.
I am using numbered outlines and have edited heading styles, e.g. heading 3
is equivalent to level 3 and the number format is A1.1 (for Chapter A). The
number format for heading 4/level 4 is A1.1.1 etc.
My difficulty is that I don't know how to edit the number format for Chapter
B, i.e. so that level 3 reads B.1 and not A.1?
I am using 7 levels of numbering so I thought that editing the heading
styles for outline numbering was the best way to do this.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Melissa
