Greetings,
Background:
I set up a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Certificate Authority for the
Enterprise. Everything works great.
1. Users can request a digital certificate
2. The digital certificate installs in the user's personal profile
3. The digital certificate integrates with Active Directory
4. The User can digitally sign documents and e-mails, and digitally encrypt
documents and e-mails.
But...
Even though the digital certificate icon shows up in the task bar at the
bottom of the Microsoft Word document showing it was digitally signed, the
customer wants to be able to see a "Date / Time Stamp" on the document
itself, indicating who signed the document and when.
Question: Is there a plug in for this? And is this even possible in
Microsoft Word?
