Digital faxes using Microsoft office

Do you offer any products that allow the user to send and receive faxes via
e-mail? We have fax machine already., but we want to be able to fax documents
directly from the computer. I've heard that some versions of microsoft office
offer this as part of their service. Is this true? If so, what products would
they be, and how can I get them?

Convert it to a .pdf or an .xps and email that.

If you're using XP, it has a built in fax program but you will need a
fax modem connected to a phone line in order to use it. Look in
Add/Remove programs/Windows programs. You'll need your XP CD handy to
install it. Once installed, you can fax any document you like, be it an
email or whatever.

office 2003 has fax capability, but wont work if you have dsl. (just found
that out myself) I used to send and receive faxes directly to my computer
then printed them out...all free. Just set up fax with home number and check
box for enabling sending or receiving. (too bad the dsl screwed it all up)

Most DSL services use a "splitte" to have both phone and DSL. However, to fax you need an analog modem or use an Internet fax service.
