What digital pens exist to take handwritten notes (like in a lecture class)
and be able to transfer the notes to OneNote later?

Are there any other solutions that do not require taking a laptop to class?

Any pens on a Tablet PC, but otherwise probably none. If you're running a
laptop only, you're going to need to type in the notes unless you've got
something like a Wacom writing pad. And even then you're not going to get
the full benefits of having Ink and handwriting recognition on a Tablet PC.

The Logitech Digital Pen (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?c...ducts/features/digitalwritingtopics&CRID=1557)
will probably do what you want, but not as straightforward as you think.
You'll probably have to take the notes with the pen, then import those
notes to your computer with the Logitech software, then copy/paste that
into OneNote.

want, but not as straightforward as you think. You'll probably have to
