digital signature suggestions.

Hi,

I've created several forms w/ vba code and have distributed them to a
client. Would having a digital signature help them...especially if they
have their security setting at medium or high? What are the benefits?

What company do you use? It amazes me how expensive they are!

I've looked at versi sign and thawte.

Thank you.

If the forms are created as templates and are saved by the users in the
Templates folder as defined under Tools>Options>File Locations, Word will
consider them as "Trusted" and the macros in them will be allowed to run,
regardless of the Security settings. Whether your client trusts them is
another thing.

You can create your own (free). When I am creating templates for Customers or
Depts in our company, I make up my own digital signature accordingly:
MyCompanyName for ClientName
MyName for Production Dept

This way they can accept the specific signature and they can choose to have
me as a trusted signer.
