Digital Signature

Hello

I've created a digital signature and attached it to a macro. However, when I try to save the macro I get a write error stating that I'm out of drive space...... How can I get around this problem??

This may sound odd, but try deleting your normal.dot.

Tom,

It did work.. any more ideas? Please!!!

Daniel

I assume you mean it did NOT work?

Take a look here and see if this helps:

"Invalid Page Fault" message when running a macro Or: Keeping Word VBA
projects "clean" by various MVPs:
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/TemplateBloat.htm

I have had this kind of thing happen before, so eventually I gave up trying
to find a solution. I now build my templates programmatically. I have a
"Build Template.dot" template that has a macro in it that starts a new,
blank template, and then inserts all of the modules I use, adds references,
creates toolbars, etc. (I do have to sign it manually.) It then saves it as
"Template.dot". (You get the idea.) It's like "compiling" my template, just
like I compile my VB6 projects. This way I can recreate my templates from
scratch any time I want without getting any wierd code bloat or error
messages.

Have you started over from scratch? Can you sign a new, empty template? Can
you sign anything?

I created a new doc and signed it, then I copy/pasted all of the info..tables..... from my original doc to my new one and saved the whole thing. It worked......I don't understand it?

Thank you for all your help

Macro-related stuff (like signatures) can easily get messed up within a Word
document. You'll find a bunch of other posts about that stuff if you look.
It's just a fact of life with Word.
