"Directory" in Mail Merge?

In the Mail Merge Wizard, I see a Directory word appear. After merge it
splits pages between entries. If this is the default setting, what purpose
does it serve. Can this behaviour be changed? Or does MS have some different
meaning in mind for Directory?

Directory creates a single document, did you add a page or section break
after the address block?

Hello,

I am having the same problem...did you figure out how to fix this?? It wont
create a directory list, just one listing per page. Very annoying!! Would
appreciate any insight you may have
